I was waiting for this. Are the images included in the kindle format?
ReplyDeleteI haven't had time to download it yet myself. I know focal press expected to have to lose a number due to studio restrictions.
ReplyDeleteI was also looking forward to it, but why so expensive? $62 is about 5 times more than I usually pay for a Kindle book.
ReplyDeleteMost Kindle books are mass market books. In many cases they have a lower priced paperback version out so all the costs are lower, including the original book.
ReplyDeleteTake a look at the programming books. Most are $30-40 and the kindle versions sell for a few dollars less. These books are more expensive because they will have sales in the thousands, not 100,000 or 1 million.
The retail on the Ves book is $68. Amazon sells it for 10% less and sell the kindle version for 20% less. $51 for kindle as I recall.
