And not only the VES membership, but also a Worldwide Union membership, if and when that happens.

But in order to get there, we will have to work The Crowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02348617437896869777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15503145.post-7447377184698963112012-04-30T16:30:28.119-07:002012-04-30T16:30:28.119-07:00Thank you for another perspective.

They say "there's no point in fixing a leaky roof when it's sunny" and when it's raining " it's too late to fix it". And should it become sunny again they will soon forget the leak until the next time it rains.

You're in a similar Scott Squireshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15920073387249178066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15503145.post-59874575422047871082012-04-30T13:51:40.413-07:002012-04-30T13:51:40.413-07:00A great and informative post. It might be something of interest.

I live in poor old Greece. Didn't seem to be any problems for any of the companies then, either in NY or California. And I still receive a small but useful pension check from Local 13 every month.Stuart Robertsonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15503145.post-42042858643854916982012-04-24T05:10:15.535-07:002012-04-24T05:10:15.535-07:00Scott thanks for posting this. I believe our answer should be "well then our reach willl have to become further is well". Although a global VFX union may be difficult nothing is impossible.
