A painter today may use much different tools than 1000 years ago but you still need to visualize and develop skills with your tools, be they oil paints or Photoshop, to do it well. For standard comp...Prep Compositor / Prep Artist -<br /><br />For standard compositing there's usually not a lot of prepping required beyond the obvious rig removal. There can be some batch processing ahead of time like lens corrections or other types of work that will minimize the time to re-composite.
